Asleepleaf agreed to a deal and then welched on said deal. Didn’t have the courtesy to respond to my messages.

Considering you didn't get scammed, or lose money, or have a real fight of any kind with the guy, I think it's a bit harsh and hasty to start a negative feedback thread. So he flaked, maybe he's busy, maybe changed his mind, etc... sure, common courtesy would be for him to communicate better about it, but he doesn't owe you anything at this point. I've had days where I logged on and saw I had a message and didn't respond for a day or two (busy, depression, having second thoughts about spending the money, family member died, son threw a rock through my windshield and need to spend un-planned $ to fix it).
Also, what's with the counter offer of $2 more? And don't say "for fees", that would be petty...
Just my two cents.Rainmaker's feedback: https://www.mcarterbrown.com/forum/b...maker-feedback

I guess I was raised in an era where your word meant something and communicated with each other. If something had come up I would totally understand but all it would have taken was a quick message.
As for the $2 that’s called negotiating from the the asking price. I don’t see how that’s relevant to the topic.
I’m not out any money. Just sharing my personal experience with another member here. I thought that’s what the feedback forum was about.
I went ahead and removed the deal with your own risk for the feedback police.

When he said " I can do that LOL", you negotiated price and shipping, and he agreed. I think that constitutes a deal. As far as timeline, because time is money, you can now fight for damages incurred. Rule 36 in the BST sticky clearly states that kung fu butterfly swords in a strip mall mens room handicapped stall can, and shall be used, with the victor deciding the monetary amount for damages.

Dang, should I post feedback on every member that did this? I do have a nice list of greenies? ..I do agree to some point (asking for Paypal info) but since I did not lose out on anything then I wont.. Finalizing a deal and Ghosting is just a self note to never deal with or bother with again...Oh, I have backed out of deals, but try not to Ghost...Keep in mind Odyssey's have a bad rep and he didn't have a clue what it was ... BIG red flag...

Frustrating? Definitely.
But not to the point where you should be leaving negative feedback publicly.
In my opinion a transaction hasn't occurred until money has changed hands.
It sounds to me like he had no idea what he was buying.. did some research and got cold feet.
You also make it seem like you have another person in line to buy the gun, so no harm. You lost what a few minutes out of your life messaging him.
Don't let this tiny little situation ruin your day. Focus on the many good things in life not the few negative experiences.
