Mech Pink Ion

Selling my Mech Ion.

It is a real head turner. Mech converted ion with ANS body, drop, and regulator. Marker does work, however, it could use some tinkering. Has roughly 500 rounds through it. I can’t really put my finger on what’s off with it, but when pulling the trigger too fast it seems to not fire a ball every time, however, it does fire. So, maybe it could use some grease or fine tuning? However, I’m not sure. I was shooting it yesterday but it became quite the air hog shooting blanks and because…ion.

I’ll try to get a video in the morning for any interested parties.

It probably just needs a fine adjustment on that valve positioning. They can be finicky to get right, but it sounds to me like it's short stroking and possibly not resetting the bolt all the way back every time. Cool Ion. I don't need any more of these, but this one is clean. Glws

If the position of your 3-way valve (and therefore the fire 'button') isn't the issue, then the other cause would be a pinched or partially pinched air line... I did two mech ion builds with those ANS bodies and on the first one I had a very similar issue, turned out the air line from the rear banjo was getting bent too much and pinching itself when the gun was put together. I ended up figuring our a way to route that line from the rear banjo down into the grip frame and then back to the valve, it solved the short stroking and also made it easier to pull the gun apart.

RichM - Thanks for the additional information. I didn’t build the marker and I am ~not~ paintball mechanics savvy. For fear of making it worse, I’m just going to leave all this info here and let someone a little more of a tinkerer work out the finer adjustments.

The problem is I get them, I don’t use them, I see them and then I remember getting back into paintball in 2015 and shooting one and all the heads it turned!
