Project planet shocker

Have a project planet shoebox shocker that I've lost interest in. Looks like everything is here parts wise, I haven't messed with it further than how its pictured. Looks like a battery leaked at one point ate away at the frame and tray ano. Also theres some soot/grime on the parts surfaces that pretty hard to clean, don't know what it could be?
