SOLD
Today I regretfully need to sell my Lapco Grey Ghost. It's an awesome gun that meets all my needs but its the easiest thing for me to sell to buy some other more needful things. It includes the stock 14 inch .689 barrel, a "12 inch" lapco autospirit .687 barrel, and finally a spiral vented custom sleeved palmer brass barrel that cost over 120 dollars from PPS, bore size should be around .689.
None of these barrels have roll outs and all are very efficient. The brass barrel balances the gun to feel more like a carter or other hefty gun so if the generally light weight nature nelsons doesn't work too well for you, this is your gun.
Everything comes as shown, ready to enjoy. It has some minor scratches here and there from years of use. Apologies for the difficult indoor lighting, not convenient to get outdoor shots today.
I wanted to highlight some of the things that make the ghost one of the best all round stock class guns available.
1. They have a spyder ball detent under the feed tube that retains balls in the barrel, so there are no roll outs as long as the ball detent is in tact which means optimum consistency as the ball is always retained in the same spot in the barrel. Freak systems are good but the irregularity of paintballs means the balls are not always lodged in the insert in the same location, having an negative impact on consistency, which means accuracy.
2. Unlike many pump guns and even earlier lapcos, the pump handle on this bottoms on on the rear stroke with the plastic handle hitting the flat face of the rail, and the forward pump stroke bottoms out with the bolt O ring in the breech. So using the gun doesn't mean you are elongating the pump slot by beating metal on metal.
3. Awesome trigger frame.
4. Excellent efficiency.
