    Empire Trracer with parts and bottom line

    Sold to Procarbie

    Up for grabs is this Empire Trracer.
    I had to acquire another after wearing one out, having the powertube give out.
    Set it up with the bottomline, and being a right hander, the stainless line fits right around my XXL mits with gloves on.
    Located the spare parts thinking I'd have it forever. Extra bolts(the silver collared one is a stainless sleeve fitted) Mainsprings, Sear sets, plunger cup, trigger spring.
    No box for this one, but the big adjusting allen key comes with it. Click image for larger version Name:	20221216_165806.jpg Views:	416 Size:	2.70 MB ID:	348465

    Was bequeathed a T2 as the long term caretender and its time to simplify my life.
    $150 Shipped to your door in the US.

    These are great guns! Do they share powertubes with any other platform or are they proprietary?

      I think you sold me your broken powertube one for parts a couple years ago, right? If that was you, know that it still lives on as a donor to keep my other Trracers running

      Anyway, someone grab this before I do! These are awesome little Nelsons. Don’t let all the plastic fool you, they’re tough as nails. And when you hold one, you just know this is a marker meant to PLAY. They aren’t the prettiest or the smoothest or the most finely crafted, but they won’t let you down, period. Not to mention if you want to dip your toes into hand-loading FSR, they come readymade for that.

      Because I love these things, and because they’re becoming increasingly uncommon to see at the field these days, in the spirit of Walzmas if someone buys this marker I will also mail them an original freedummy cocker detent, free of charge. You’ll need something to prevent rollouts, and they work flawlessly for these markers. I’ve used the same one for years.

      That’s a great question. Trueblue, weren’t you trying to figure this out for your first one? Personally my suspicion is they aren’t proprietary, just a big ass tube (maybe like a #10?). I could pull one out of one of mine and measure it sometime. But maybe I’m wrong.

      Also, you can still find full stainless steel bolts for these to replace the crap aluminum bolts (although I dig your hybrid bolt, never seen one of those). What you need is a stainless bolt from a Razorback/Kenimex Scorpion, which Bacci has available.

      Best of luck with the sale! If nobody grabs this I am thinking about getting another spare...but I’m hoping one of you kind folks can remove the temptation for me.
      Stainless adjustable Scorpion bolt, new works with Trracer / Razorback. See photos.

        I did sell mine, but it had an intact powertube and a stock class feed

        I should just pull this and avoid having to go down this road a third time, for increasing money, as is my habit.
        I love these markers. I really wish the old site that referenced powertubes(?) still had that info. Trying to piece together a new drivetrain is just a pain I'm ready to avoid. I'm still annoyed at the "whoever owns them at this time techs" at a Big Game that didn't even bother to lift a finger and find out or work a contact for a powertube.
        The fun that can be had with a Trracer, a 50 found hopper, and a 8" J&J edge with a potato masher Apex.

        @jonnydread

        I may have bought yours too! It was back on the OG MCB, but I purchased three from members on here. One BNIB (this one has become a project for a hand-fed FSR rifle), one with a stainless bolt and and a modified CCI stock class feed (this one is my pump daily driver), and Trueblue’s broken one as a parts doner.

        @Trueblue

        I can’t guarantee any sort of a timeframe on it, but I am going to try to figure out what kind of powertubes these use. If that means just buying a bunch of them and seeing if any match, that’s ok. With the way Empire/Kee recycled parts, I have a strong feeling they’re just a big tube that used to be used on some kind of classic Nelson. But if they are proprietary, instead maybe I can find enough owners of these to for some kind of bulk commission.

        EDIT: ah man I’ve never gotten this @ thing to work right

                Your best bet to get info on these power tubes is to send inception designs a message. He designed and built these. He will be able to tell you.
