I’m just commenting to agree that a file alone will not get you detents of Freedummy quality. Lone Wolf did a video on some that they printed themselves and they lost fingers on the first few shots. I’ve shot multiple cases though my Phantom Freedummy inserts and they are all still there. I bought about a dozen each of cocker, Trracer, and Phantom ones when he first started making them and aside from one I lost and one I stupidly murked while installing it none have deteriorated at all.

I think his printer had the ability to use two kinds of thread without stopping…sorry, don’t know the terms. He knew what he was doing in both design and execution, not a print and forget sort of situation.

No, I don’t have any spares, sorry.

Unfortunately he’s not making them anymore. Can’t even get ahold of him. If he put his print on Shapeways or Thingvers I’m sure people would be happy to give him money. I’m sure we can reverse engineer them. It’s not like they are a super technical piece.

I may be able to help with a few things…
First, as others have said, they have two different filaments. I can’t remember what they are (besides TPU for the fingers obviously).
If someone here is good with the Wayback Machine, please post the link to his MCB 2.0 sale post.

    Second…sizes.
The Phantom detents had a deep, short profile ring that fit in the pocket for the stock Phantom detent rings. I’d start with the dimensions of a stock ring if you are designing a new file.
The fingers were short (and could have been much shorter even) because the ball sits in the bore just before the mouth of the barrel.
On the right is a Phantom detent. The left ring is the stock Autococker detent where I trimmed down the fingers to work with a Roundhead Autococker threaded body.
The Roundhead, and the Azodin KP3, similar to a Phantom body need “Detents” instead of “wedgits”, so only short tabs are needed to keep the ball from rolling past them.
Most Autococker/Snipers actually push the skirt of the ball into the barrel, so the long fingers on the AC ring fold over with the ball and provide a friction grip by decreasing the diameter in the barrel in three places.

I worked with Freedummy to make rings specifically for Roundheads, KP3’s, and any other AC threaded closed bolt marker that the bolt doesn’t push the ball into the barrel. He made me some with the Phantom nub shape and also a triangle nub at my request. Both work the same. I don’t think he ever marketed them, so I may be the only one who has them.

Whatever Shooter needs to get these available again I am willing to help with. Just PM me.

Hi everyone, sorry for the canned message and disappointing news, but due to changing life circumstances I can no longer hope to keep producing these. I have heard there are other members on the forum trying to pick up the torch, I hope this will help whoever needs it.

Print them for yourself, for your friends, for your teammates, for strangers having rollouts at the
