You may have better luck with aluminum. I’ve been talking with him off and on since April 15 of last year trying to get a brass one and so far no dice

Maybe two people will mean he will do a few, I am thinking of grabbing an aluminum now and waiting for the brass later. Not like I don’t have the guns to use them on.

I suppose anything is possible. Last I had heard from him he was spending all his free time making knife scales and his son had taken up the kframe work

I sent him an email yesterday about a brass one. Maybe 3 is it he magic number

What would one feel is reasonable to pay for a plastic K Frame? Something durable enough to hold up for awhile, but obviously lower quality... just a way to get the feel for a K frame without breaking the bank.Rainmaker's feedback: https://www.mcarterbrown.com/forum/b...maker-feedback

Rainmaker. Circling back to whats reasonable. Its a hard call. Id want to see some extensive testing before I fully trusted the durability of a printed part in this apication.
For reference. I emailed Dan, and he said annodizing is months out, but a raw aluminum frame can be had for 170 shipped and shipped in weeks. So Id say your frames would have to come in well under that.
I have only seen the teaser pics, but your frames going to have an rva? Come with grips or no? Square grips or round as options, or are you sticking to one style? Trigger assembly printed too? Including sear and springs?
Id say you are confined to 100 shipped or less for a printed grip with grips honestly. Id hate to say it, but Id gladly pay 70 more for an aluminum counterpart if available. How many hours do they take to print? You printing the grips too, or buying houges? Id still be in the market for a printed set from ya if its feasible to sell them for your time and effort, but thats my feedback on prize analysis.
Id also potentially pay for the file and print my own ( not to re sell, but just to print more if they break) ( closest Id come to reselling your design is giving a k framed pgp away for walzmas)
Thats my feedback sir.

BrickHaus Thanks for the input, good sir! I think I'll be able to hit a nice low price point that will be agreeable. It will be a printed frame, printed trigger, steel sear, RVA, steel hardware and spring, with or without a Hogue grip (priced for 2 options). I'm waaaaay under $100 shipped. Only looking to sell a small batch, because I have some of the laser cut sears left after doing a project for AnarchicArctic, and I don't want to steal the thunder from Dan (his metal ones are FAR superior)
