I decided to play pump yesterday for the first time this year. Usually play a lot, but just hasn't been in the rotation in 2022. My Frankenstein sterling underperformed though. Rather than tinker with it some more, I decided to ask if anyone has a newer Sterling (Bronze or STP) they're thinking of parting with (Spyder threaded only, please). Or if anyone can get them from the manufacturer these days, and if so, point me in the right direction.

shooter311 might have a right feed Spider threaded one
A few of us have been trying to get some STP’s shipped to the US but as soon as you inquire about Shipping to the US you get ghosted from the UK distributor. We even tried buying a bunch of them all at the same time.

Yeah, buying from the distributor seems like an impossible task. I was able to buy one last year, but it was a LOT of work. Someone on the Facebook group who claimed to be an expert told me mine was the first new Sterling sold in the U.S. since 2011...No idea if that is true or not.
I am legitimately thinking of buying a round trip ticket to England to buy like 10 Sterlings (and maybe a couple Sovereigns). and bring them back to sell at cost. I don't think there is any better pump out there for the money.
Anyway, I had a super nice Red Sterling STP I had as a spare but I sold it a couple of months ago. They don't come up too often, but if I see any I'll tag you. Good luck!
I'll attach a pic of mine, just because I love showing it off!

So for new model sterlings, I found that paintballshop.com in Australia has them AND will ship to the US. Or at least that's what the site says. But prices are fairly high so I haven't tried getting one just yet.

Well I just ordered an OEM Stock Class feed for my STP fingers crossed I get it. You just saved me a lot of cash if it works. $68 shipped for the feed I would have payed twice that to get one. I just sent them an Email to see if I can order that red and black Stock class STP Sterling has sitting in a box and or get the Vertical accessory kit for the markers they already have. I will keep you guys posted.
That red white and blue fade is cool as hell to.

They have the full Stock Class models here: https://paintballshop.com/stock-class/
Don't be fooled by the pics, it is a kit that lets you convert it into multiple configurations open class, stock class, open stock, etc.
Don't hold me to it but they are $799 AUD which Google tells me is $535.33. Worth every penny in my opinion!

I wonder if we will run into issues because a paintball marker is considered a “firearm” by Australian standards.
I sent them an email I will let you know there response about a full marker I would hate for it to get flagged at customs for absolutely no reason other then how it’s labeled. US will be like oh is a paintball marker / toy.

My sterling was turned away the first time at U.S. Customs. The reason was something like "x-ray - shape". So I assumed they x-rayed it and it looked like the shape of a gun. Plus for description of contents the guy put "sporting goods equipment".
However, being shipped from a paintball business might go over much better than a private person.

That's the only issue I could see getting in the way. Seriously they need a dealer in the states, just one would do honestly

I'll let you guys know if I have any issues.

Hmmm... that's news worth investigating indeed. Anyone know if the bronze has the adjustable hammer, or if it is STP and Stock versions only that have that feature? I actually kind of like the side feed of the bronze, but the non-externally adjustable hammer is a deal breaker if I'm gonna pay for overseas shipping.

I just contacted them about a wholesaler deal for Sterlings. I'd be willing to buy a whole lot of them to get them back on U.S. fields. let's see if they are willing to set something up. If it happens, MCB member would get first dibs on them, I'd say a discount too, but I am not planning on making money on them. I'll keep you all posted.
