Emek would fit the bill for most. It needs no batteries it’s a mechanical marker. It’s super light, reliable, efficient and $289.95 new. It hits way above its belt in terms of value to cost. It will shoot very fast semi only, this is not your typical Mech. I use mine for 10 man Tournament play. I got my wife a tricked out one. They just work all the time.
ETHA 2 is the same marker with an electronic board has all the firing modes you would need to play speedball in a similar package. They are $499.95 new.
Both of theses can be had reasonably priced used as the Etha3 and Etha3m just came out. So you should find a used one for a good deal.
I highly recommend Planet Eclipse they really hit it out of the park when it comes to quality and value.
Not that there is anything wrong with the mini it’s a great marker as well, has a bunch of firing modes and for the most part reliable as well. It’s not a bad choice.
