    WTB 2K2 Timmy Membranes

I am trying to resurrect my old 2K2 Lasoya and Empire Intimidators. I have searched exhaustively to find new membrane pads and have had no luck. I remember reading about a way to repair them but I can’t find the thread. So, does anyone have 2 membranes they can part with? Or any suggestions on repairing them? I appreciate it.

Consider upgrading to the FloryPB setup? https://www.ebay.com/itm/22588188225...Bk9SR5bXkKOjYw

Looks like that’s for gen 3/4 intimidators, not gen 2

Gen 2 never had button pads, only toggle switches.

Gen 2 LCDs have a membrane pad underneath the side plate. There are two buttons which protrude from the side plate that allow for pressing the two membrane pad buttons. This is how settings were adjusted on a Gen 2 LCD. waffles2, you may be thinking of a GZ which had DIP switches on the board, or possibly an LED frame which had only the on/off switch and settings were changed by trigger.

These are essentially the same as what’s in your TV remote. Do the MCB thing and gut an old remote to get it fixed, or replace with new ones purchased online.

I also have a gen2 lcd that needs this done - I’ll try to get to it this wkd and report back

        This video might help

If they do not work but the pad part looks good, you can trim the ribbon end that connects to the board a little. I have had success reviving dead membrane pads like this for Intimidators and DMs/
