WTB pistols and small markers.

Loved playing with tube and tiny hopper fed, 12 gram powered setups. Show me what you got! Even if you won't sell it now or ever. I just want to know a price range if it were for sale. Mostly trying to learn what my next two markers should be. So don't be shocked if I ask a lot of questions about the marker. .

Must be semi auto. Can be a mechanical or electric.

No back bottle or bottomline asa setups. VASA setups are okay, but must include a 3.5 oz CO2 tank or smaller. Or a 12 gram quick changer.

Must be able to shoot atleast over 200fps but not over 300fps. If it can do that. Then I don't care if it's has no velocity adjustment without changing springs.

Must be reliable.

Must be rebuildable if it starts leaking.

Prefer an open bolt. If it is a closed bolt, then it must have a removeable barrel, or one that has barrel inserts, or have some fingers or widgets to prevent rollouts.

Must be able to shoot modern paint. I always get the hardest shelled paint so that's not the problem. Just it's so hard to get round paint without dimples or tumors. Or that is not tiny. I know paint that's s*** enough will never work. And those are the days I go home early.

No magfed. Springloaded tube feeds like a BT SA-17 are okay. I actually prefer them. . (SA-17 was the best STBB pistol)! .

If it needs a tiny hopper, than it must be included.

Must be able to get more than 20 shots from one 12 gram.

All stbb pistol are gonna feel like a disappointment next to the SA, otherwise you got some custom PPS pistol that are fun to shoot, but they are neither easy to rebuild not shoot 20 rounds per 12g 😅

Of course, unfortunately all the cup seals are old and no good anymore. Unsure about the lever changer seals. I am very interested in the FASTECH AFT Trainer though! .

Yeah one more thing to mention. No PPS products! Not worth the headache! XD

Really? I don't think I've ever had a cup seal go bad on me completely no matter the age. Does the SA not use Piranha cups/valves?

All the SA I've used had good seals, but I pull one out to make a replacement.

I'm starting to make seals and gaskets on the laser with good results, and I'm testing some flexible resins so I am nearly able to replicate any seals out there if I have dimensions. I'm short on time to document and catalog everything ...

You can see 2 BT SA-17's in the BST. Yes, they are mine and up for sale. You can also go to the Miscellaneous Markers section and look at the PT series of pistols. I think the BT SA-17 is awesome. I love mine. Can single load FS. Changing 12g is not fast though.
I need to mod mine. But great marker for recball. I’ve never had issues with mine. Internals are all the same had it for atleast 8 years ish.

I may end up getting another BT SA-17. But I would like to try something new. .

I bought replacement parts for the PT pistols from both Bacci paintball and Dirty Works paintball. The RAP4 T68 is along this line and MCSUS.com may still have parts for that model. CO2 piecer seals are the main issue with most of these models. In some cases, I have found nylon washers or small flat rubber washers to replace the bad seals. Unfortunately, it's not a universal answer to all of the different models. I'm pretty sure I have one of every model in the pistol line. I can post pics sometime next week of the Ariakon, Armotech, PB Delta 68, Piranha USP and T68 series that I have collected. I have spares of the PT Enforcers.

I really like the look of the Piranha USP. Would need to have a source for all the seals if I were to use one though. Same for the BT SA-17. I need to be able to fix a marker at the field if it were to go down. I feel silly if my gear fails and I can't fix it. .

There is a chance that the piercer assembly of the JT ER 2 may fit some of these pistols. I need to verify when I get home.

I got one of these I would sell yah. I could add a Doc quick change to it for a lil more. Fresh rebuild and shoots great.

If I were you I'd hold out for a Zeus. Rebuilt one for a friend a few years ago and it got 20 shots @ 275 off a 12g. His came with an aftermarket bolt that had a beveled tip for small paint too. Honestly it was a pretty solid shooter, smaller then the SA-17. You can just throw Spyder valves in them, although I think I remember the main spring being a wonky size.

What's the difference between the Gen 1 and Gen 2 Zeus? And what would he say is a good value for his upgraded zeus build? .

No idea on the differences between the generations, his came with the upgraded bolt, a 3" extended barrel tip, a holster, and a bad valve leak (hence why I chucked a 32 degrees magna Spyder valve in there) think he paid like $100/$120 for it. I was pretty impressed with it after I got it going. If you find one, there are members here that can either bevel the bolt for you or cut a ramp in it so it'll handle down to 0.675 paint perfectly. Might need to slap a second detent on it if the paint is that small though, but it'll still be relatively inexpensive.

Just came here to suggest that after the talk of the HPA adapter. Mine gets a good 20 shots at 280 for no problem as long as you don’t really hammer on it and let the CO2 expand.

I've wanted one forever. But been hesitant because of parts availability, if it could shoot modern paint, and because prices range wildly based on finish and upgraded/aftermarket parts installed in it. I'm very green on automags in general. Don't know much about them.

What kind of shot count do these get? I assume the fps it's set too affects that? If I don't get a Sydarm one day, I will get some kind of Micromag. How I would build up my Micromag. I don't know yet. .

Here is Sydarm I put together years ago, sold it and then bought it back. I know you dont like backbottle but you can reroute the air to where ever you like. I hate the 8round springfeed limit but you should definitely look into sydarms.
