Anyone interested in making some Cocker thread collars? I've got some barrel tube I'd like to turn into Cocker barrels but need a collar with threads to solder/epoxy onto the tubing.

I can see this being a commodity that I could find an occasional use for possibly in other threads as well. So you could count me in for 2 at least to add to the pool of demand.
TLDR - +2

You rang? What's the OD of your tubing?
I'd have to order in some brass, and that stuff's not cheap these days, so if you guys want a batch, we may want to do a preorder sort of thing. But yeah, I can crank something like that out in a heartbeat.

There's no "approximately" setting on this machine. Trust me, I've looked.
I asked this afternoon, and a local shop has some brass already in stock. The price has gone up a bunch since I last bought any significant amount, but it's here and they have quite a bit of it.

But... it was brought to my attention that there will only be a 0.025" wall thickness which concerns me as far as the durability of the threaded portion.
If the collars have a potential for shearing threads off, I'm not really interested.
And... I realize quantity will likely affect pricing, but cost would be a factor in whether I want any.

.025" plus the wall thickness of the tubing it's soldered or glued to.
As for cost, ballpark figure, including materials, maybe $20-$25 each? Given what I'd charge a typical walk-in client, that's actually below cost.

'Kay gents, I'm gonna splurge on a hunk of brass in the next couple of days. Can't promise how soon I can have them done, but I'll shoot for as soon as possible.
Would anyone be averse to a prepaid/preorder? Brass is expensive enough (and due to recent foolish purchases, my wallet empty enough) that I'd prefer to only make as many as are needed. I'm not looking to make a ton in profit, but at the same time, I don't want to lose a bunch either. (I do enough of that on my own, thank you very much. )
