Shown with a 3/8" dovetail cut on the top tube. Definitely leaning that direction and avoiding #6 threads in the top aluminum for mounting a rail/sight combo.

Updated the feed design to have the follower fastener on the top. Also have it so the follower and ramp can be used as the direct feed mount by removing the thumb screws and either sliding back or rotating and sliding back the follower and ramp. Spring follower thumb screw can be replaced with a button head screw to rigidly fix it so it acts as the feed ramp for the stock class feed.

Looking at ways to retain and guide/return the pump and this seems to be a decent solution. All machined from the bottom side and within the extrusion profile. Between a guide rod running through the pump, contact along the body/extrusion and mounting points to the bolt it should control the pump stroke pretty well. Might run the guide rod into the grip frame with the spring outside the pump to give the rod more contact length with the pump.

Update with a refined grip design and potential ASA options shown. Everything is falling inline pretty well, just need to work on the pump design and shutoffs for how to potentially mold it. Grip will likely stay a 45 style so it can fit a variety of grips and panels. Probably change the guard loop to add more room for use with gloves, etc. and maybe humpback the frame slightly.

Worked out some pump details with the guide rod and also looked at what could be done with an integrated rail. Rail on the top with mlok along the bottom would be pretty simple to incorporate. Be nice to have a quick feed option where 10-12 rounds could be stored in the stock class feed and with lifting of a feed gate between the stock class feed and spring feed you could quickly top off the spring feed. What's shown on the railed model is about a 20rd spring feed, 15 might be a little more practical with an additional 10 round quick top off in the stock class feed.
