    Inline Chinese solenoids

Kind of poking around at my zxs-600 project again, so I went back to searching solenoids. The original solenoid is the size of a c battery and has been taken over by my new LPR. Since these use 1/8" hose to a cast block, I'm trying to hunt down a solenoid thats ready for 1/8" hose. I stumbled across lots of these but no specs on max pressure. Anybody played with anything similar?

Do you have a dimensioned drawing of the coil/frame or manufacturer? I've actually got a bunch of solenoids similar to this from past projects that may be the same. These are about as cheap as you can get them but they're still used in a number of consumer and medical applications. Depending on the frame size I've probably got a data sheet of either that solenoid or one similar to it that should be pretty close in pressure. I've got a box around here somewhere with a bunch of similar solenoids in it just got to find it. See attachment for a Koge brand solenoid that may be similar; other chinese companies may be Xiamen and a countless number of others. If you're interested in spending a little more for something with good documentation you can always check out Clippard or Humphrey; depending on what you need it may be closer to $20-50 in low quantities.

Note: A 6V solenoid with a frame size of 20x16x14 mm has an operating pressure around 350mmHg (6.7 PSI); I don't think your LPR is running that low.

I'm not sure of the dimensions. Just something I came across browsing ebay. Even if I found something that has the input and output on the same side of the body that could work too. But with that comes more connections (90+barb) and more potential leaks. I figure something like these that's all one piece is the simplest solution.

        Check out the smc S070C-*
that could fit your build and be quite reliable. The less power hungry models run you around 30€ in europe, not sure about america.
