So i found a broken mini and it is the board that was bad. Well if it was not bad when i bent the pins that sure made it bad. I am planning on changing the board over to a Morlock cutting the back for the screen. with the mini i know that i am going to have to actuate the solenoid 2 times one for the start of the shoot and the one to end the shoot. I think that the trigger is high to low. I have some stuff figured out and can share if wanted. I am trying to figure out some of the wiring and whether i need a cap in it or not. Has anyone here changed a mini to a morlock? If not is there anyone that has installed a morlock board on their marker and can they give me any inside information? I would prefer to share the info via google docs so i will need to share with private messages.

Are you planning on removing the eye and trigger board, or wiring into them?
The trigger switch is the oddball
I used to have access to the header pins that mates the boards.
I have a remote ribbon cable somewhere. that allowed me to mount the battery in a remote location. My goal at that time was to make a mini into q tank turret. Having the battery be the left grip, and the trigger frame be the right, but I quickly lost interest.

My plan is to use the Optimus 1.1 board and since it has the eyes attached use that as well. I am running into issues with power as the optimus requires 9 volts and the rechargeable LiPO uses 3.7 volts, and that is all that comes through the morlock i think i can maybe use the boost voltage for the solenoid and that may be able to get me the 9 volts that i need. Just not sure on that. plus the wiring is giving me issues.

You can use all three supplies simultaneously. sort of. They are all diode locked-out so whichever has the highest voltage is used automatically with no cross-talk. In other words it is perfectly normal and safe to have the LiPo plugged in, the USB supply connected and an 18v DC supply all running at the same time.
