I had some free time today and finally got to do a cool project I've been saving since Christmas. It's a double-trigger Gmek frame! Basically just the electronic frame with all the electro parts stripped out and replaced with a big pivoting steel bracket. And some roller bearings. And a custom delrin pin. And a brass trigger rod.
It shoots great, of course. The only problem is that it's a little too easy to not fully release the trigger after a shot, so the 3-way doesn't reset and then the next trigger pull does nothing. So that will take some getting used to. But it was a fun project.
Now I just have to figure out how to do a safety. Or I'll just use the ASA. I'll probably use the ASA.
I also have thoughts about ditching the long rotating bracket and replacing it with hydraulics, but that will have to wait a few more months.
