Well trigger in ... but got a few bad news ...
1) the screen died,
2) teh bord is not registering trigger pull ... so got some digging to do ...
Edit:
Got the board up and running and got spares for everything π
should have it button up in a few days.
Also went a bit crazy on something, hope you'll be able to figure it out π€£Last edited by XEMON; 05-03-2022, 07:58 PM.Love my brass ... Love my SSR ... Hard choices ...

No pic update ... I'm not able to drive a single solenoid from the lipo ... Trying to figure out where the power is going/dissipated on the Morlok ...
I'm at the point where I may have to gut everything and start from scratch if I can't find a solution to this ...

How about a tiny 2s lipo instead of just a single cell? Those run between 7.6 and 8.4V but have a lot more output than you 9v and won't take up more space
-
I thought of that, but the board has a lipo single cell controller, so i don't need a charging system for it ... which was the main appeal of the lipo in this install ... if i need to remove it to charge it, it defeat the purpose ...
Also thought of putting a separate charge controller, but couldn't find anything small enough to fit in there ...
so, all in all, return to the 9v battery is the best/only way to make everything fit in there ...

After 2 years, and a few failed frame layout ... Which lead to scraping a frame ... Which lead to getting a new frame ...
I have the final layout for the DerCockermaker V3 π₯³
After the failure of the Morlok to manage the lipo power output to the solenoid, I caved in and returned to a 9v battery.
The shocker frame do not have room for the battery, screen and board, so I relocated the battery in a custom "drop"/battery compartment.
Not sure about the reg, and need to tune it , probably need a lpr rebuilt, and hopefully the ram works π
