    Woodgrain Phantom

The gun I bought for Stocktoberfest isn't going to be here in time. So I decided to make some changes to my plain black Phantom. Let me know what you think.

EDIT: I really should have mentioned that I owe a big thank you to Rainmaker for helping me out with the pump design for his undercocking Pucker kit!

Was thinking of going a similar route on a maverick project in carved maple. I like that look.

Did you model the wood grain lines into the stl? Or are they carved in afterward (like with dremmel?)

      It turned out Awesome!

The wood grain is in the .stl. It was not too fun to do...

Also, I edited the post, but I owe you a thank you for your help on this project!

I was very sceptical of 3D printing around a year ago.. But you are single handedly changing my opinion. Really awesome work...!

It doesn't go without its frustrations, but I have found it to be a really great hobby. I have repaired and replaced countless things in our house from kids toys to mounting brackets for the sonar sensors in my Truck. I'd like to say it paid for itself, but that would be an out right lie, lol. Maybe it will eventually.

Stocktoberfest is gonna be a serious 3D printing meetup and I love it! Great work!

I have some Proto-Pasta 1.75 stainless steel PLA 125g sample packs left over from when I did some 3DHubs and Makerfaire 3DP evangelism. I'll bring a couple you can have if you're interested, would love to see what you end up doing with it. The abrasiveness may half the life of your current brass nozzle but that's the only drawback. If for some reason you run 3mm filament, you are extra in luck.

Very cool, how have I not heard of this stuff before? I had to google it, and it seems awesome. Thanks man, I will put it to good use for sure. Sadly, I will only be at Stocktoberfest on Sunday, but I am cool grabbing it then!

I have only used 1.75mm filament and I don't need to invest any more into my printers. Thanks though!
