What did you 3D print today?

Printed a nova insert case today. Then some electrical stencils.


Then I started an articulating skeleton shark. For the laughs of it. The neices and nephews always want my wigits.

The I got the dust knocked off my second printer and got it on octoprint.

Making a second rainbow nova insert case now on that printer, just because I knew the g code was solid. I didnt expect this old wet silk filament to work out.

Another tweak, I'm happy with this now. Now onto the next part.

Minor change up, working on a printed slider. At this point youll just need the sear, ill probably send out for scs machined triggers if this goes well.

Getting closer.

Need to assemble. My test pieces are operable. AC sear and trigger plate, RC linkage and generic springs. About to move on from this phase if the frame tests out correctly.

I have thought about the slider quite a bit on whether I want to use stock pieces unadulterated so far it works as desired but if I went over to a swing trigger I feel i could make the adapter much shorter.

For the time being im gonna run with the slide as its got meat that i can mod if needed.

Still making progress. I know the desired outcome and so far the rest of the project has been on track with multiple tests and alterations. The longer frame will pay back with other designs. I've decided to use the stock sear and trigger plate, an RC airplane linkage set and a few easy to aquire springs.

I do have a physical working model but it very bare bones

Printed a dummy 26ci tank to see how it would work before attempting to play musical air tanks again.

Well liked the drawer system file I got from CC3D so much I did a hydry system as well. Puts a 2nd AMS unit in with a poly dryer system built in. Took almost 5 days total to print it and about 6 spools of material but it turned out awesome. Just need to extend the harness from the ams to the back panel and it's ready to rock.
