After some positive feedback at work, I added a second step bit holder, for 1 3/8, and I opened the other step bit hole up to allow for 7/8 or 1/2", added a 7/16 bit holder for KO pre drills. Moved some stuff around, added company logo, chamfered the edges.
Shes a printing... my spool may run dry, but it is what it is.

I always laughed at engineers when they would say " It worked in CAD"
Well these labels looked good in CAD. Hahaha. Printing another with bigger labels. Made a final change to the file so lables are bold.
Also made the company name a bit larger.
Now to print 10 of them... of course I go to Micro Center for a couple of spools of filament so I can try to churn a few out over the long weekend.
I needed a dual gear extruder for my ender 3 pro, the part cooling fan also squaked on the bearing my last print so I figure its time to look into q nicer fan duct. Low and behold, they had a Biqu H2 in stock, qnd they price matched it for the $68 its going for on BiQus website( sold out)
I figured Ill just het this and upgrade it once, but now getting it home I realize its a much bigger project than I figured it would be haha.
My E3 V2 8s churning out drill blocks, but I need to make a few mounts for my H2, and I need to try petg for the first time on this printer.

I’m running the Biqu H2 on my ender 3 V2. I actually got a second H2 for Christmas to put on my Voxelab Aquila.
I did find one nice mount but the fan setup for it didn’t work. Positioning was off. Then I tried a different fan mount for a 5015 which worked well. But honestly I haven’t liked any of the fan mount designs. They print like crap. There are always weird angles and bridges. Nothing is designed to be optimized for printing. So I will have a crack at designing a fan mount myself before I swap the Aquila over.

My first of a few parts in PETG. I didnt think I could get away with it on my stock Mk8 hot end, but its working I guess.
I went to Micro center for a dual gear extruder, and I saw they had a Biqu H2 in stock. Duql gear extruder was 39 hucks. They price matched the BiQU qt 68. I figured its a good deal and a better long term upgrade.
Then I realized this meant I need to do way more work to get the printer going again, hut it was too late.
So my ender 3v2 which is fairly upgraded is being tasked to make me a combination of mounts and ducts for my e3 pro. One down!2 Photos

Lol I just commented on your other post about mounts. So you designed this so the nozzle is sticking outward from the x-axis carriage? In that case I wonder if there is enough travel in the bed to allow for full build volume.

The mount pictured is actually simply a base for a modular cooling duct fan called the MAD duct. Its a specific mod for the h2 extruder someone else masterfully designed and shared. The pictured part isn't a mod for the printer yet. Its an awesome kit with many options for fan choices on the h2 extruder for part cooling. I really want to use a 4028 fan as I love how the mount LOOKS. But I have 5015 turbines sitting here from upgrading my ender 3v2 with a hero me a while ago so I figured I ought to use that modular mount. . The designer of the MAD kit, had the 5015 oriented sideways so it was direct blast of air into the duct plenum with that specific fan, but it made the print head envelope bigger. So I found a remixed 5015 fan mount for the MAD with the fan laid sideways to be tighter to the extruder. The MAD kit also has 3 cool plenum options. I kept it simple with the 2 pronged plenums as it seems they will block less of my view of the print. Im currently working on thee plenum now with a supported laid flat print. I really think they are going to turn out awesome.
Ive also printed a base to adapt the h2 to my printer that works with the MAD, qlso not my design.
I think qfter the plenum I may print a cold end fan adapter so I can use a 40mm fan on the heat break area vs the 30mm Biqu includes. Then its as simple as snip and solder for now. Im going to get jst connectors so I can change fans in the future if they fail.
but you do lose a bit of X and Y volume from what I've read, a few mm each way.

I see how that all goes together now. I may need to look into it. I swear I looked at the mad system before. Most pics posted on printables and thingiverse are generally inadequate to show a design in real life. So thanks for the nice pics there!

My pleasure. Ill share more as I get it together.
I went with the MAD because I like watching my prints, and most other h2 fan set ups blocked the nozzle view from the front. That lead me to scour for options until I pieced this together.

This was a fun print with the raft and supports. Im doing it again oriented on end right now just to compare differences. I thought building it like this would make it less porous but its pretty bad. I ended up nail polishing the inside the duct in my fan mount print as it is also porous. It actually sealed it half decent. I had a tear in the fan mount duct as well. I patched it with my 3d printer pen, but I may just make another as I have a few days waiting for my heated inserts.2 Photos

I'm very, VERY, new to 3D printing, but the poor example looks like pictures I've seen of wet material. Do you have a dehumidifier setup?

I think my thermistor is the issue. I was wrenching on the cold end fitting to makes sure my Capricorn tubing was seated properly, and my printer threw a temp too low alarm. It also tossed a thermal runaway alarm. My guess is its got a flaky connection, and its letting my nozzle temp command fall too far wrecking prints.
That being said. My brass m3 inserts came in today, so I should be able to take a stab at getting my ender 3 pro back together then ill take the v2 apart and Ill either use the hot end from the pro. Or Ill mod my fan shroud to accept the haldis 3d head Ive been sitting on for a year.

It isn't perfect, but it does fit so that is a plus.
Is it too soon to start trying for 2023 print of the year....
