Over the holidays I finally got around to installing my 32-bit main board. It's a Big Tree Tech SKR mini E3 2.0 in an Ender 5. I figured since the 3.0 is out it's about time I got lol. I kind of been putting it off cuz I have a printer that works and things to do so I didn't want the down time.
Anywho the BTT tech support is so so and the GitHub page is a mess. Trying to find some Marlin firmware that was plug and Play just wasn't happening. TH3D had put together one of their unified firmware packages to help people out but it's not really a product or do they offer support it was just to help. It worked well with a little bit of figuring. It's up and running but there's some changes I would like to make but I haven't been able to find an answer so I figured I'd ask here cuz the likelihood of getting a bogus answer is less
A vast majority of the firmware for the E3 boards is all based for the Ender 3. The end of five has some significant differences so there's nuances and things have to be reversed. When I do an auto home or stop a print the print head and the z axis I'll go to home at the end stops which is but when I print finishes it goes to the opposite corner where it would for an Ender 3. Does anyone know what line or text I'm looking for in the firmware I need to invert or alter for specifically when the print finishes? I know I could add it in gcode in the slicer but then when you're updating software or trying different slicers if you don't remember to add it might present a problem.
