I did this about a week ago, but I wanted to share.
So my wife for me a filament dryer for Christmas. I was excited to get my old filaments dried and get back to printing. As they were printing, I figured Id get my printers ready. The ender 3 pro still had an old few bits of PLA stuck to it from my last failed print. I didnt think much of it, ai was using my middle finder nail to het under the pieces and free them up. I got to the last piece. This roughly 1" long piece of pla. It was particularly stuck better than the rest. I gave it a few quick scratches when it finally dislodged. It wan along the bottom of my fingernail and ended up somewhere behind my cutical. I took a gasp, realized what happened, and. I insta pulled the piece back out in a reactionary move. Man that hurt both times...
The first photo was right after it happened. The second photo is how it looks today.
And yes, I know my nails are disgusting, and ugly. it is what it is.
Needless to say, be careful scratching filament off of your beds folks. Maybe use the scraper the oen provides.
