So I picked up this Punisher project from Super Game 55, and I'm trying to figure out the right way to go about possibly completing this build and I think I've got a good plan. So anyway thinking I need to reheat and remove the VASA mount and rear manifold, and make a new longer solid one piece bottom that will integrate the latter two and also have material in the center so I can drill and tap for the grip frame. Only real problem was trying to think of where to put a solenoid, luckily I remembered I had an old Sandridge electronics box that can't be used anymore since my board is fried; perfect fit for a solenoid and I can reuse the Sandridge on/off switch. Hoping I can get away with using an old Mac solenoid (also from the Sandridge) since it fits perfectly in the box. Uses an IR3 Ram supposedly (haven't taken it out to confirm) and I have a stock refurbished LCD board. I have the ability/tooling to mill the new section of brass, but not confident is sweating on the new piece, so I might have to get some outside help with that. I did do an initial test with a cocker 3 way and despite leaking from a poor solder connection on the manifold and lower testing pressure everything seemed to cycle/work very smoothly.

I have to ask if that box is going to live below the frame could a new name be suggested? "Punisher Drill", "PA Drill" or maybe just "The Drill"? The only reason that I ask is with that box underneath it has a strong resemblance to a cordless drill?

While normally I joke I do not mean this as a joke or rude, and I hope I do not offend it is just something that i noticed and TBH think a marker called "The Drill" is cool since so many times I at least say "I just drilled that guy with a cross field shot" or "I just got drilled" (referring to an amazingly lucky shoot that hit me or a shot that hurt)

That looks like a fun build! Never thought of the idea of making a brass-body Angel.
How about a Bushmaster 2K style 'tray' to mate the grip to the body, with the solenoid and/or manifold hidden therein? Then the grip would be wide open for something like a Morlock and a 9V, or one of the little battery packs that Curt was selling with the Morlocks. (He has parts finally on the way, by the way, and they should be available again shortly.)

I had that thought of using a Bushmaster tray and frame for a while, and all the parts to do just that in my cart on eBay, ultimately I thought it would look more aesthetically pleasing thinner where the frame mated to the body, which is why I decided to try to find another route. Either way its all new to me, never messed with an angel or a bushmaster before for that matter.

I didn't necessarily mean an actual Bushmaster frame, I meant something in that style, custom-fitted to the gun. There's all sorts here, after all, that could mill or 3D print such a thing for you.

Can you send me the fried board from your sandridge? I might be able to replace it cheaply.Paintball Selection and Storage - How to make your niche paintball part idea.
