Figured I would toss this up here.
To preface this I have pretty much never used CAD other than a tiny little bit with google sketch up back in the late 2000s and never did anything with it. I figured I may as well try and learn Fusion 360 while I have some vacation during the holidays and started playing with it earlier.
The goal here is to make a nice foregrip for a pneuma build I am getting ready to start acquiring parts for. I can't find anything I really like so may as well just get it made... at least if the machining costs aren't astronomical.
My general inspiration is a reimagining of the AGD bike grip.
The model has some issues currently, obviously needs the top to mate up to the rail (I neglected to get measurements for that before I left to visit family). I also will Riley trim the bottom and slide the bottom ring up a bit... and despite making 90* of it and then duplicating it around I still managed to overlap the quadrants so I will need to work that out. but I am not disappointed with spending all of maybe 3 hours so far to learn Fusion and this being my 4th attempt.
I am debating if this will be gas through or not, I don't mind the big loop line so I may avoid the extra weight and threading to make it gas through but we will see.
