Working on a mid 2000s regulator today, before the industry really started putting a hex in the top of the reg to take it apart. So, had to grab the top end with some pliers which left a small mark and it occurred to me, why has nobody made something to clamp the top end of a regulator?
I'm thinking about chopping a ASA in half and putting it in my vice to hold the top end of a regulator but figured I'd ask if anyone has ever made a block of aluminum/steel to do this?
