    Phantom spring feed adapter

After a few more weeks it will be ready to go. Version 4 is in the mail.
version 3, works great and makes my phantom look streamlined.

version 3: increases your capacity by 11 balls
Uses phantom feed gate for 10rd tubes
    Compression fit for now
Plastic feedramp with plastic dowels (glue in, punch out later)
Needs two flat head screws for the spring feed to get bolted to the back bottle asa of phantom. It leaves a tiny bump for rounds to go over but they move fairly easily.

Feed ramp is still my first gen, Dremel'd out as version 2 was only sometimes working. Version 3 is in the mail with my updated sizing.

Biggest grip is getting the screws into place but not too terrible.

Version 4: coming this week, has an update to feed ramp (still one of the problem areas) but it is right at the cusp of success.
Update feed gate size to make 10rd tubes and the oring fit better.
Two locking screws(plastic) are threaded to the top to lock the new feed extension in place.

Hopefully this is the final iteration, and everything works smoothly.

When everything is said and done, I would like to send out a few for testing by other mcb members. Make final changes and then open them up for sale, trade, or file download.

Heads up don't post the file to the public if you don't want people selling it without giving you credit for the work.

I don’t understand what I’m looking at other than a really long Phantom.

I did not say in original post.
It is a conversion for the EV spring feed, that replaces the wasted space of the turn knob with 10 extra paint rounds and easier loading.

I believe his is making his version of an adapter for the EV Spring Feed to do what apocalypse486 was making a while ago, the DualPheed. Here is his YouTube:

If the OP can do this and it works as well as Apoc's the good on him. Apoc is no longer wanting to make these and has not for a few years. I bought of him the last of what he made for some of my projects as well as I have sold off some of the excess. I love my DualPheeds when I get a chance to use them they work real well and are fun but I end up most of the time in Mech games or Stock games that don't allow spring feeds so my spring fed markers see very little use since I moved back south.

Agreed, the ones he made work great and now I am inspired to use it at the pump game coming up at APE in April.

You are correct, I am making an adapter for the EV spring feed.
This removes the turn knob at the back, and turns it into a version of Apocs duel feeds. I never could load the EV well, and disliked the turn knob for my set up. Personal opinion.
The EV feed is great as it is mostly metal construction which makes it very durable. And once my 3d print version is working 95% of the time I can see about converting it to a metal attachment.

I love my duel feeds but with him not making anymore, and mine cracking at different points I'm afraid to keep using them.

Yup, I treat my DualPheeds with kid gloves and I even have some spare printed bodies. I would be interested if you get to the all metal stage, I like playing with spring feeds when I get a chance.
Working...
