POP Contest: Cuda’s Poo Flinger

Long overdue update on the project. Found a tank with a little bit of air in it, so could finally test my modifications to the BT-4. My goal was to eliminate blowback but only removed the hammer oring and added an oring to the value. Turns out that’s all I needed to do. The gun is now bolt action, needing to be manually recocked after every shot.

I need to finish building my custom hopper now and figure out how to feed the 10rd tubes into it. And the I’ll be ready for the big reveal!

I’ve now finished my custom hopper and just need to add a couple final flourishes before I do my big reveal. I’m pretty pleased with the final results!

Origins:

Lord Vader, long aware of terrible the accuracy of the Storm Troopers, ordered three famous bounty hunters to search the galaxy and return with parts to make a more accurate blaster rifle.

The bounty hunters, unable to refuse the wishes of Lord Vader, set off on a next to impossible task: to assemble pieces that would allow a Storm Trooper to be able to hit the broad side of a barn.

And we all know how Lord Vader deals with failure....

Dengar’s first stop was to get a wrecked assassin droid from an unsavoury pack of Jawas. They drove a tough bargain, but Dengar was ultimately successful in recover the droid’s main sensory array.

4-Lom had made arrangements to meet two members of the exiled Death Watch to purchase a special blaster rifle prototype.

And finally Bossk had heard the Empire had captured a Wookie and went to retrieve its bowcaster.

In celebration for a job well done the bounty hunters stop by a Snope’s Intergalactic Dive Bar and porg hatchery for a drink or two... or five or six... or 15....

Of course all this drinking led to some problems (and eating of porg). Little did the bounty hunters know there was someone who overheard them boasting and were just waiting until they passed out...

A sly Kowakian Monkey Lizard managed to steal with hilodrive with the weapon’s information without being notice.

And brought those plans to a rebel spy who made some changes to the plans and had the monkey lizard replace them before the bounty hunters woke up from their stupor.

Everyone was too drunk and passed
out to even notice the holodisk being return to the bounty hunters.

To me they sobered up the bounty hunters arrange a meeting with Vader and one of his admirals who was out in charge of the project. The bounty hunters unknowingly gave the admiral the altered plans.

The admiral went straight to work and produce the first prototype of the gun, still unaware of the rebel sabotage, and presented it to Vader himself before testing it out...
