Got an ego 6 i have been trying to fix but can't seem to hold air. it keeps leaking at the rear qev and making the bolt stick forward. What do i need to do to fix this and/or is there a better replacement than the original qev planet eclipse make for them??

So the ram shouldn’t be sticking forward, even if the qevs are bad. If I was to guess, I would say your rear ram oring is bad and air is getting past it driving the ram forward. By design when air isn’t coming from the solenoid to drive the ram forward, the qev allows that pressure to escape.
and unfortunately there are no other qevs that fit on 05/06 egos. They have a thread specific to those markers only. Good news is those QEV’s can be rebuilt with a replacement diaphragm and some heat. Personally I modified my rammer sleeves to use a more standard 10-32(autococker) thread qev

yeah i went and replaced that oring and now it shoots like a dream. though i am probably going to replace all the orings to make sure everything seals properly.
Oh really? i probably should do that so i don't have to worry about fumbling around trying to find the specific pe qev. thanks for the info!
