Paintball Search and Destroy

The classic game mode from the video game series Counter-Strike with a paintball twist. One team are terrorists and the other are counter terrorists. The terrorists will be carrying a bomb with a key pad on top and a red and green led as pictured in the images attached. They must plant this device at one of two planting sites, chosen at the discretion of the referee/field. If they are hit while carrying the bomb, they have to drop it in place and someone else can pick it up. To plant the bomb, the terrorists need to place it down at a planting site and press * and hit enter to open and arm the bomb. At this point, the led will go from red to green and very loud music will start to play which can be any song of choice (I use Guns N’ Roses - Welcome to the Jungle as it’s about presentation). Once the duration of the song ends, the bomb goes off and the terrorists win. However, if the counter terrorists approach the bomb before it goes off and diffuses it by closing it and entering in the code, 1984* and hitting enter, they win. Additionally, terrorists can win if the bomb goes off and the entire team has been eliminated and the counter terrorists can win by eliminating all of the terrorists. This is cool and I would love to play this.

I do have to wonder though, if the current generation of paintball renters has even played counter strike

Last game Watched a younger renter get two kills in succession and I exclaimed "Double-Kill" counterstrike style, kid looked at me like WTF. haha

Thats pretty cool. I always wanted something like this for nerf games. I would hook it up to some kind of pyrotechnic, like a puff of chalk power or something clearly visible and audible

Our local field Warzone does a bomb game, but it's like level 1. This is level 11.

I’m lookin to be a level 100 paintball wizard

Played at a field with a crappy, much less awesome version of this. Had to get the bomb into a location to win. The bomb was some tubes painted red, tethered together with a thick gauge wire. Wasn’t wearing a glove and the wire ripped into my finger and left me with a scar.

Would love to play with your version! I miss playing more interesting versions of games other than the standards.
