I present the Watermelon Ego 8 project.
I started by picking up the most crusty funky ego 8 I could find. It didn't shoot, had been scraped up, completely sanded raw and left for dead. Had the wrong bolt, blown solenoid, leaking/gouged exhaust valve, wrong LPR housing, board issues and blown regulators. It was beautiful

KMDPB stepped up to do an ano job and we settled on a watermelon theme. I tossed in a Doc's Tonto barrel for good measure. The ano didn't need to be perfect, and given the pitted funky base of a turd this marker was as a starting point he knocked it out of the park.
Post-ano a couple static o-rings needed a slight upsize after its hard life changed tolerances.
Teched out and tuned up, new orings, valves and reg seats. She rips ropes now.
We'll see how long she lasts, parts be rare these days.
