Has anyone every done this? Found one locally for a really good price. And I'm building a custom spyder, just at the point where I'm adding the internals. wouldn't mind using it's internals if possible. Essentially building a spinny with odyssey parts. Thanks

Odyssey rpm internals in a spyder

It would be very difficult as the rpm has a different diameter lower tube. The ram rides directly in the body. Secondly, the solenoid is mounted in a weird way. It would be very difficult to do. You're better off just grabbing a busted and banged up 2k2 style timmy and using the parts from that. I would suggest against buying parts individually, as the costs would stack up very quickly.
