Another fun project I did. Always wanted a Pro Teams Products Micrococker. They had the best anodizing. Picked up a train wreck and worked it over. Those that are familiar know that the hammer lug sticks up and engages the back block. Steel hitting aluminum is bad. So I tried to pin the block and slot the hammer. Not enough material there for successful fix long term. The concept seemed good so out of frustration I machined a solid block with pin out of medical grade titanium. Why you ask? Because over engineering is what I do.

That's fantastic! I've got a brand new raw PTP micrococker bolt and sled that I've been trying to decide what to do with for some time now. I remember seeing the issues with the lug wallowing out the bottom of the sled and I haven't decided how I'll attempt to fix it just yet... so it remains in the parts bin for now.

This is crazy. I'm building a knockoff micro cocker and just ordered aluminum for the backblock. I was wondering how the bolt pin went through the side of the backblock and also engaged the hammer. Good info. So should I get a hammer made out of differnt material or make the pin out of something else?
