    Reversed cup seal

Is there a reason cup seals are fitted to the valve pin?

I made a valve with the seal pressed into the valve body. This allows me to adjust the valve opening size by swapping out the seal unstead of having to swap the entire valve. Surely there is a market for a flexible valve design like this? Good for tinkerers or tuners? Not trying to sell anything, just throwing ideas out there

Shocktech valves and gen 1/2 into intimidators had something like that.... I'm sure others.

May want to have shims for the spring as well. Without shims the spring tension will change as you increase/decrease the seal diameter since the shaft will settle at different depths. Great idea to tinker with if you want to repeatedly pull the valve out and reinstall. Not to nah say the idea but I expect it would go the way of the madman rocket valve. They could work great but required a lot of tinkering and were often replaced with something else a bit simpler.

I agree on the different spring lengths. The next one i make will be more obtuse - or even flat. That should reduce/eliminate the variable

One negative I can quickly think of, because it's something I've ran into before with Intimidators, is that you now have two sealing surfaces. This means you have more places for a leak to occur. That said, as pointed out, Shocktech still does this on their RAT valve, and it's working for them.
      I can haz feedback?
If I owe you feedback, just remind me, as I sometimes forget.
