Nothing too fancy or that hasn't been done before.
I'm pushing the limit on the starting price for the marker. Bought it in July, 2024 new on ebay for $150. Machined the front of the body, bored the upper tube, and ran the barrel threads deeper to eliminate the issue of the balls shooting into the barrel rather than the bolt pushing them into the barrel, then firing. Also had to machine a regulator swivel, since the original cracked unexpectedly on a random gas up. I figure with a starting price of $150, it now being used, and machined (no longer original), it can't be worth more than $100. I'll bow out without debate if this is an issue, but at least this was motivation to do this project I've been thinking of for a while - well before I bought the KD3.
It's done, shooting 280fps, and easily convertible back to semi.
3D printed pump handle, front guide/support block, sled, and valve spring guide/shim.
304 SST main guide rod, support guide rod, dual pump arms, and (anti-fart) striker (that still stinks). I was hoping passing gas around the striker would stop the fart, but the execution of that idea is constipated. It doesn't sound as bad in the open back yard as it does in the basement.
Azodin valve spring, valve guide, cup seal, and valve pin (pump gun part numbers not from the KD3).
Tippmann A5 Cyclone Feed spring for the pump spring.
Misc set screws
...and of course, more milling on the body for the sled clearance
Here are some starting pics.
