RIP in Peace official Tippmann Forum

I guess the domain finally expired a few weeks ago. Me (DeTrevni) and a few (like, 3 others) of the old guard still posted there up until the end, but I guess it's an end to that era.

I had my social media coming of age there, and I think I had like 13k posts or something. The place was so popular that you could have real time conversations in almost any given subforum.

There was a lot of bad, too. I know it got kinda cliquey in there, and if I was a jerk to anyone who dropped by, I'm sorry. But it was a helluva forum.

Just an In Memoriam post for MANY hours of my life, and the place responsible for my love of paintball. I came here to MCB when I got into vintage, but it was the Tippmann Forum where I really spent most of my time.

Being one of the last, I'd say I earned my Superchromium Barrel, and if anyone has a link to the sale of the Hellhound, let me know...

I agree, it is really too bad that a lot of these forums have been shut down. It really is only due to the sheer love of the sport many of us left keep them going. There is no money in it as those of us still left well know. We do it because we love the sport and the people. Glad you made your way here, and yes, I too share in the loss of many of the gun specific forums. They were a wealth of knowledge with the most passionate types.

I honestly cannot recall which exact Tippmann forum I started on. IIRC it was something I found linked on Warpig. There was some Spider forum way back, perhaps related to Otter?
That has been a long long time ago.

Condolences for your loss. Losing an online community really hurts.

Glad you made your way here, and hope that others do as well. This place still has that new-forum smell after a significant overhaul last year.

This might get a little sad but it kills me that these old paintball forums just are the same anymore. It makes me sad to see things go towards Facebook and other social media platforms. Same thing with Pro teams either disappearing or changing names. Its all changing of the guard but every time I see something like this a part of me dies.

Totally. Even though it was garbage I first started on the PBreview forum and when it shut down it took me a long time to find a place that felt like home. Just a sign of the time man :/

My brother spoke very highly of the Tippmann forum. My experience was not so great, however.
Still, it's sad to see a big name go away. ICDO still exists, but it's pretty much dead. BEOG & Spyder.tv were the other two I was on years ago & they're gone... So sad.
