Someone at the paintball field today had one that smelled like citrus.
i enjoy recreational usage but I’m not into high thc, had my try with them when it got legal and it a 4-5month I’d wish to have done something else. Now I’m into Cbd and a little does the trick.
while it true that skunky was everywhere before it untrue with all the choices we have today.Dealer for: Roasted coffee and TechT products.

I'm a daily partaker, but I've always liked the smell. To be fair I like a lot of stuff that is generally considered unappealing so take my opinion with a grain of salt. I love fermented foods, stuff with strong flavors, bacteria-based foods and so on. As others have said different weed smells different, but generally skunky/piney/grassy is how I describe it. My favorite kind of grass smells like grandma's basement💀 PK x Ragnastock 💀

I've never had a problem with the smell, I always figured the skunk comment was a joke because it has an unmistakable odor like a citrus pine and it lingers like a skunk spray. Its possible some of the offensive to the nose smells could be from people that grow hydroponically and don't properly flush the chemicals out before harvest so their is more of a burning chem scent and flavour to the product which is more an issue with novice growers who don't know any better, I know people typically say if its grown in soil with miracle gro it smells and taste of chemicals as well. Smell could also be a highly subjective thing like I don't like the smell of tobacco but smokers don't even notice it, while I smoke marijuana and typically enjoy the smell and taste of a well grown product, other people might be put off by the smell because they associate it with negativity (laziness, people who don't bath, devils lettuce, refer madness) they have a negative view of the product so their brain associates negative orders to the smell.
Here in Canada I know my local field closed down because they transitioned into a dispensary and their local county was trying to give them some initiative to grow as well, when I was talking with the former field owner he said they had lots of requirements regarding keeping the scent from smelling up the neighborhood so its not like its unregulated. the place mentioned in the previous post probably releases at night hoping for less complaints while people are sleeping like business that burn more on cloudy days because the overcast weather helps hide the smog, aka dirty business practice to save money by not doing the right thing. its not like its impossible to reduce the smell in Edmonton we have one of the best waste water treatment plants around, they have big silos that their literally cooking the poo in to kill off the bacteria and they have one of the ritziest neighborhoods in the city across the river from the facility but with their filter system you cant smell anything foul when your standing outside the building.

I don't partake. Don't like not feeling in control of myself, don't know my limits, and the last time I partook at a party I made the mistake of drinking 'punch with some tequila in it' alongside, when what the guy meant was 'I flavored some tequila.'
I drank a Solo cup, while the host fired up a vaporizer. Either one of those was way too much for me, let alone both together.
But I work in Tampa. Ybor is the party district, and driving down the nearest three overpasses, you can smell like someone roadkilled a skunk. Farm. With a steamroller.
Some friends have told me some strains smell nicer. They're just not the ones that carry downwind.
I'm fine with people that want to enjoy it. Just treat it like alcohol. Which doesn't mean five square miles of Tampa need a permanent smell like a moldy skunkbutt rug, and I'm utterly infuriated by people I see smoking up in their car.

nothing against it at all either. moderation is key, just like you shouldn't drink yourself stupid and then drive.

Always smelled link skunk to me. Tried in a few times in my early 20s. Didn't touch it for many years. Have had one take in the last like 3 years and that was my wife's cousin bringing a joint when we had family Christmas dinner in 2019.

Start slow and be patient if you dip your toes in to edibles. I am well versed in the green arts and edibles can still destroy me if I'm not prudent.

Yeah edibles are a high consequence game. Last year a friend gave me some and I had a few good experiences with them so I doubled down...that was a rough night. Go slow because once the edibles have been taken there's no going back. You're just along for the roller coaster ride.
