Who’s got ink?

Got my first tattoo the other day. Stupid as hell but I like it. And the gf likes it. I need to take a photo once it heals.

wondering what all you guys have as far as ink goes. (Might just have to steal some of your ideas)
kinda want something paintball related but at the same time idk. Definitely want to hear some stories behind why you got what you got.

I'm about 2/3 covered at this point. None of them are paintball related sadly. (Maybe its time to get a team logo tattooed on me?.....)
I've always loved skulls so that is my overall theme.
Can post pics if i find some that feature any.
Most of mine were spur of the moment, no real thought as to what i wanted, just giving the artist a chance to have fun with something evil/skull related and sketch away.
My brother was covered in tattoos so his friends who were artists would travel through California and stay with me instead of a hotel. I would setup friends to get tattooed in my living room at a reduced price, and i would get free ink for being the host and setting it up.
(Yes, it was sterile. All the guys coming through would bring sterilized, 1-time use stuff and clean everything each time)
Of all my tattoos - I've only paid for a few.

Top of my left shoulder blade reads, "Cheat Death". On word over the other in modified old english script. (didn't quite like a couple of letters so I modified them).
There's a bunch of others that I've considered over the years but never pulled the trigger.

I started getting ink in my early 20s. I got a Genma Saotome on my right upper arm. A few years later, it was a sizable Badtz Maru on the left. Also got a "family" tattoo in my earlier 40s with my wife and daughter. That's the kitty and crossbones from The Oatmeal on the inside of my right forearm. Plan on getting more. Many more. (already have a big one planned...)

I got an Eagle on my right shoulder. Looking at getting an American Flag on my left.

I've got a lute on my upper left arm, planning on getting a sgian dubh on my leg where it would be if I was wearing one traditionally

I have a FMA half sleeve on my right arm, a baobab tree on my left shoulder, NH motto on my calves and “bumper stickers” on my chest.

I’d like to get a paintball themed one, but I haven’t had any ideas that felt right.

i have a full leg sleeve on my right leg, hip to the top of my foot, front and back of knee, i suggest everyone avoid those 2 spots as much as possible

I have both lower legs done including tattoos that go into the pits of my knees, I'm getting my kneecaps done in about a month. I can't wait!

I'm glad you're excited about it, if you've already had some of the backs of your knees done then you are already familiar with the healing process... lift with your back not with your knees

The Black Knight from Monty Python on my upper left arm. Looking at starting an arm sleeve on my right with a bunch of sports team stuff. Gritty, the Flyers Mascot, Eagles logo, AZ Diamondbacks Sugar Skull logo and Green Man from Always Sunny.

A space scene covers the lower 3/4 of my right arm. It starts with negative pine trees framed by a mountain range looking up to the sky where Carl Sagan's map and Spaceman Spiff hang out. The space disintegrates into a geometrical pattern.
There's a personal crest I came up with at 20 on the inside of my right arm, a Sri Yantra on the outside, and a Zia symbol on the back. I'm about to add a moon to the whole thing to tie it into the 3/4 lower sleeve.
Laurel leaves on my chest and some silly paw prints on my waist. You can laugh. It's my first tattoo.
My lower left leg is my stamp collection with a crown, the visualization of my nickname for the traveling crew I was part of, Rooster, and the half of a tattoo my ex-wife and I have.

Swallows on my chest,
right shoulder with wings and kids names. And a globe
"Keep up" and an iceberg with the lat/long where i crossed the Arctic circle.
