    Well, I Did it again....

Click image for larger version Name:	image.jpg Views:	0 Size:	1,022.7 KB ID:	166233 That's right, I went and smashed my right hand thumb this time....
Not as bad as last year on the left thumb but pretty good..
I was helping install a bumper when it slipped out my buddies hand and fell on my thumb.
Tore 3/4 of the nail off including all of the quick...plus some extra meat...
I tried to finish the job but the nail had to much meat left on it to tear...
    I really tried....twice...
Today I went to my doctor and she injected my poor ole thumb at least 15 times with pain number and proceeded to cut the meat from the nail and removed it... she actually wanted to try to suture the nail back in but had enough and
said we will just let it grow back by itself...
I know there is no grizzly picture for you to drool over but I forgot to take a before pic and pictures will have to wait until Monday when I rewrap the bad oscar...
    thanks for tuning in...

It's a shame it was not on a wood stock for one of your new creations. The owner could have maybe gotten some of your magic dust on him.

Well, according to the photo, it seems like merely a one thumbs up incident.

With that much packing tape on the thumb I will bid you a warning: Be aware of every movement while papering your bottom. I know from experience.

I mean, I tend to keep my injured hand out of the bowl, and just wipe with the stranger hand. Though, nice segway to that thread Jonnydread.

Do it while it's still numb from the initial injury... once the feeling starts coming back, its too late.

                      Don't ask me how I know. 🙂
And God turned to Gabriel and said: “I shall create a land called Canada of outstanding natural beauty, with majestic mountains soaring with eagles, sparkling lakes abundant with bass and trout, forests full of elk and moose, and rivers stocked with salmon. I shall make the land rich in oil so the inhabitants prosper and call them Canadians, and they shall be praised as the friendliest of all people.”

“But Lord,” asked Gabriel, “Is this not too generous to these Canadians?”

And God replied, “Just wait and see the neighbors I shall inflict upon them."

Must have been from one of those older days cars where the bumper actually did something. If I dropped my plastic bumper on my thumb I'd probably hurt the bumper more than myself.

                        Take care, rest easy.
