what can go wrong 12 gram shot of of shotgun

8 grams. The N2O and CO2 bulbs that I put in my seltzer bottles look like the same size.

What the hell did I just watch? Rednecks shooting empty whippets at an old bulletproof vest? Is this what passes for quality entertainment on YouTube these days?

The main thing- on a whole list of idiocy- is those morons fired the cartridges backwards. They put 'tails' on the things, but then loaded them into the gun tail-first. That's like trying to throw darts flights-first. Yeah, no s**t, Sherlock, they flew wildly. This comes as a surprise to you? Next why don't you try shooting an arrow out of a bow, nock-first. See what kind of results you get.

I want my five minutes and twenty IQ points back.

It's gone forever, and to make your day worse they did say they loaded them backwards so it would actually fire from a consistent pressure, making it seem like the "correct" orientation wouldn't fit in the shell and so not work.

They should have shot them from a much greater distance to see if the tail would actually stabilize the vessel.

If you think that's bad you should see what passes as paintball content on the Facebook. Actually don't, please don't.

-'Consistent pressure'? Why would that even remotely be an issue? They weren't shooting for distance, accuracy, velocity or intelligence. They were shooting a foot-square target barely spitting distance away. You could have loaded powder into each shell with a spoon and it wouldn't have made any difference.

-I suppose it would have been interesting to see a full 12 gram fired out of a shotgun, at something like a brick wall, but this wasn't that. It was thin, empty steel shells, fired wrong-end- forward into a softish target. What the flying f**k did that show?

I agree with you, It's just what they said, I think it is pretty clear there was very little effort involved.

-Unfortunately, that's pretty much the defining characteristic of a lot of YouTube videos these days...

-Haven't watched any of them that I know of. If this one's a typical example, I have missed nothing of value.

I watch a lot of these guys. As a shotgunner, I find some of the stuff they get to launch from a 12 gauge interesting.
