Got a few on my own, but have been going to work every day, so the score quickly doubles (mostly in the last category) as part of my responsibilities include coordinating equipment, training and logistics for others at my department.

some of those things I’ve been doing most of my life already.... cooking and camping? Heck yes!

But my mom was diagnosed with Liver cancer so we're being extra vigilant about the quarantine for her sake as she's doing chemo.

5. I haven't had much time to do anything fun. My boss' wife is bedridden most of the time so he hasn't been in since March for fear of harming her. We service hospitals and have to have 24/7 client access so that's been me this whole time and have been doing 12+ hour days at work as well. And half of our employees quit lol

Nautical. So far I have the phonetic alphabet, code flags and meanings. Just need the semaphore and Morse code and I will have it all.

Basically, I have a 16 month old who loves flipping through books over and over and over and someone got him a book geared to kids about the phonetic alphabet. Just by being home with him for the last 6 months and flipping the pages 2 dozen times a day I have absorbed it through repetition. I realized a few days ago I had the entire alphabet memorized.

The amusing thing is that we sail a boat out of Annapolis on the Chesapeake and frequently sail past ships at anchor. Now I can call out what the flags they are flying mean on the occasion that they are flying any at all.

Oh well. Funny thing is my daily schedule hasn't changed much, but big city density means big city changes. And of course, conspiracy theorists at work led to some arguments right out of the gate when they assumed I was on "their" side.

there are a few things i rather like about the pandemic, at least "blah blah" thing. there was a self reliance, i cooked way more, i felt good about my own domestic skills. i took on house projects, my art car is going really well, i learned to weld, halfway decently even ... there are actually a lot of things i rather liked about that era.

having all social order dissolve and having to rebuild it was rather taxing, and i have yet to get back to those early days of the pandemic self reliance.
