Thanks for the post Ed! Id like to echo your sentiment. Ive lurked on MCB for years as a blue name chl2onic. I was just here to buy used gear and learn from your awesome projects. As the years flew by, the a5og/x7og, , spec ops, pb review, and other forums have died. But I still come back to this place.


This is now replaceing all social media for me, so sorry if I post too much. And thank you for listening.

As a result, I now have an addiction to sheridans, and modding stuff that ought not be modded.

Wrong time zone for me, but there are plenty of guys in that part of the country willing to trade some paint with you.

I've been meaning to make a similar post about how great this community is for a long time. I'm on several different forums and most of them are super toxic with a couple "know it all" bullies running the forums and talking down on everyone else. Moderation is non-existent on those forums and I always hesitate to even post.

I've been on these forums for about 16 years now and despite getting out of paintball for 9 of those I always visited here because of how great this group is. Here on MCB I never feel apprehension about posting, always love the vibe, and there's TONS of information on any subject you can think of. I can see why some members get out of paintball or don't even play but still visit here and share things in the off topic forums. You guys are just great to be a part of a community with and thank you Carter for hosting such a great forum.

Here's to many more years of MCB!

I will say I was a lurker at first, and mostly here to buy the gear I liked that just doesn't come up much on FB or the bay.

However, being in the know for local pump games and get togethers has been the real benefit. That has made paintballing for me been so much more fun.

It is a great group of people for sure.

I imagine I am like many people who frequent this forum and primarily lurk, read and ogle the beautiful tools of the trade. We likely came for the game but stayed for the people. Thank you to everyone who inherently or deliberately creates a space where we find we have far more in common and far fewer differences. I hope I am fortunate enough to get to meet some of you in person one day. For the time being I will do my part to bringing the inclusive and classy feel of MCB to our local paintball community.
