Refugee care packages

I know, I'm being that guy and bringing it up, but not for politics, not for any reason then to try to help the millions displaced from their homes.

Does anyone know of anyone sending care packages? I would love to send all of the baby clothes that my kid doesn't fit anymore. I just don't know where to start, and I was hoping someone here knows someone sending items over the pond.

Local churches are usually a good place to start. They usually have a member organizing something or can point you in the right direction if looking to donate items.

Universally the best bet is usually straight money to a reputable aid charity. Easier to convert cash into needed items right on site vs. dealing with shipping logistics on items from here into a war zone. And the aid workers on the ground have the best knowledge about what is really needed. Sometimes they get overwhelmed with unneeded items because people are just trying to help. Then left high and dry on stuff that's really needed, things like feminine hygiene products that people never think of.

SKF in Lansdale, PA is collecting donations, in no small part because they have 1100 employees in western Ukraine. I'm guessing they have a good logistics plan to get the stuff there.

If you can't find a reputable charity with a good track record doing stuff like this, see if you can find a similar large company with a European continent.

Emergency blankets, baby wipes, socks, bar soap, etc. are probably high on the list.

I donated through the UN humanitarian fund, https://crisisrelief.un.org/ukraine. One of the Ukrainian guys I work withs parents and siblings are stuck in Kharkiv right now.
