I've had many nicknames over the years many involving my name Jack. Jack attack, Captain jack, Jack o'lantern, Jack ass ect.. ect, plus a few name over the years from playing video games: erosion and havocked mainly. Loophole was something my parents used as a nickname for me from a young age. Apparently at the age of 3 or 4 they said they would pay me a nickel for every bucket of weeds I pulled. I came back with my little bucket from my sand box instead of the 5 gallon bucket in front of me and started filling that with weeds. Ever since then I have always gone back to that nickname for being somewhat of a smart-ass at times.

at the time i was into punk rock, and i liked cockers.
i mean im still into punk rock, and still like cockers, so idk. sometimes i wish i picked a better name, but it is what it is. i have been using my even older screen name "gerglmuff" on things lately. that has a more fun story, as its not actually sexual (what many folks think). its actually from the magic school bus books, an aside part where arnold grew mold on bread, and the mold makes a sound which is quoted in the book as "gerglmuff"

If it helps. Your name is legendary to me. If you don't know who cockerpunk is, you really don't even know paintball. Ill never forget the day I was helping ref at Splat Tag, and you showed up to play. I felt like a celeb was out there.
I have a ton of respect for your screen name man, even if you don't like it.

Back in 2005 ish, when I was in 8th grade, I was really into Metroid Prime. One of the levels in that game is called Magmoor Caverns. These were lava filled caves populated with giant fire breathing snakes that lived in the lava. They'd pop up and spit fire at you. At the time, my friends and classmates were getting into neopets, and I needed a cool screenname. I somehow came up with Magmoormaster, which I thought sounded cool. It basically became my default screen name everywhere, from xbox live to paintball forums and so on.

For me and my friends were forming the original version of our team High Defiance we were all trying to come up with a call signs for each other they all pick things like Mortician, Death, Coroner and other names such as that.... I chose Chaos because I like to create confusion and disorder on the field and felt it was a fitting name and I've been using it ever since 98 when I started playing seriously

Mr. Barraclough is an alias sometimes used by the character George Smiley in many of John LeCarre's Cold War spy novels. Smiley is one of my favorite literary characters, and he was wonderfully brought to life on TV by Sir Alec Guinness for the BBC miniseries productions of Tinker, Tailor, Solider, Spy and Smiley's People, the first and third books of LeCarre's Karla Trilogy. When picking a screen name, I was thinking of it as an alias, so I decided to borrow one of Smiley's "worknames." Mr. Barraclough is the alias Smiley happens to be using during a pivotal operation in Smiley's People.
I first used it as an Xbox Live name and then found myself reusing it for Reddit, MCB, and most other places where I needed a screen name. I don't think I've ever found it already taken anywhere.
Edit to add: It is usually pronounced something like "Barra-cloff" or "Barra-cluff," depending on one's accent.
The Automag: Not as clumsy or random as an electro. An elegant marker for a more civilised age.

Rickfactor - which Rick will show up to play?
The one that survives an entire tournament without being eliminated and gets multiple kills per point or the guy that gets shot on the break every time and never even has to reach for a pod.
The "Rick" factor is the unknown that could mean a place in the finals or getting absolutely destroyed.
As with all proper nicknames, they are only valid if given to you by others.

Back in the 90s I worked at a Laser Tag place called Laser Quest. My call sign was Raven. It fits. When I was looking for my original call sign I was flipping through the 3050 Battletech tech read out and came across one of my favorite light mechs, the Raven. 911 is from my job.

I was signing up for gmail and decided to change from my AOL name since it had been my then deceased childhood dog's name. Decided I wanted something simple, but knew it had to be unusual or it'd be taken everywhere I went. I'd recently watched Con Air for the umpteenth time and tried to spell out John Malkovich's character phonetically. "SIE-ruhs"...which I turned into 'Si-ress' somehow. The actual spelling would be Cyrus, but I didn't know that then and this has the benefit of greater availability across the web. It also made being stalked easier...so, there are tradeoffs.Paintball Selection and Storage - How to make your niche paintball part idea.

the 1st forum i was on when i was younger was for Saturn cars.
it was my 1st car and the fast and furious movie came out. that was the thing to do... needless to say, the poor Saturn i had got thrashed. lol
blew the SOHC engine up and found i could swap it out with the more powerful DOHC. then the transmission grenade'ed. lol who knew.
this was all before YouTube made everyone a mechanic.
i, like most people into cars before me, had that one copy of the Chilton/Haynes manual that was covered in grease and grime.
an easy name for me to remember and because i really did like and enjoy my saturn was T.a.r.s.u.n... just a simple rearrangement of saturn
i miss that car to this day.
manual rack and pinion steering. no balance shafts, no dual mass flywheel, and a partially balanced crank made the car lively. none of this was obvious until you started modifying the car. i had the DOCH engine from the SC2, tri-y header, full exhaust, catless, underdrive pulleys, larger throttle body, MSD coils and wires, short shifter, kevlar clutch, and of course the under-glo neons.

Way way back, before the days the hotmail was super popular, I had somehow stumbled upon this weird website that had games on it, but you could also get an email address. I created an email (my first) and kept trying different usernames, but they kept getting rejected. Finally I gave up and just hit "zzzz" and it worked.
Eventually, I wanted to sign up for a hotmail address, and I tried the old "zzzz" trick again, and nothing. Wanting to keep it similar, I tried a few different "z" words, and eventually hotmail suggested "zinger565" and it stuck. I've used it all over the internet, emails, gamertags, just about every forum, TwitchTV, etc. It's become "mine" and I don't think I'll ever give it up. I'll also be using it as my pseudo name for paintball photography.
