You can google your fridge model and find the service combination to quickly check operations. Like I have a Samsung and holding Power Freeze and Off (I think) at the same time for 3 seconds lets me select a few different things. Force Defrost Freezer, Force Defrost Fridge, Power Freeze. I just have a simple 2 digit display next to some of those buttons so I don't know what all the codes mean.
If you can't do that, I imagine your control board is bad. Could mean the whole fridge needs to be replaced, or just the board, you'd need someone to check if they are bad.

Mine did the same thing, It was the Compressor Start Device (Capacitor), I also replaced the Run Capacitor since it was connected to the Start Device. They are both mounted to the left side of the compressor. (mine is very much like this video I have attached). Also, since I was down there with things apart, clean all the coils I could get to.eBay 2004+/0- Feedback

New fridges aren't what they are priced to be, for sure.
We purchased a new high end Samsung when we moved here. In that time the ice maker has already failed, it developed an issue with the drain that had to be repaired, and the control board is this one is on the verge of screen failure. I had the repairman out about the ice maker, in particular, and he showed me why he wouldn't bother to replace it by setting his flashlight inside and turning off the light. All around the edges of the ice maker component you can see light, so all it will do is freeze up and ruin the new unit as well. He mentioned that if the control board went out it probably was not going to be worth repairing even as a $3K fridge. Sad, really.
When I was ~17 or so the guy across the street from us at the time gifted me a GE as a "beer fridge". It needed a $4 defrost timer. The fridge was already going well past 20 yo at that point. We used it for better than two decades and the only thing it needed was a door seal, which was a bit more expensive. Beyond that, no issues whatsoever. I used it as an actual beer fridge out in the garage for a long time and then moved it to a rental house someone hooked us up with. I left that fridge there as a thank you to the homeowner back in 2012-ish. It is STILL in that rental home working just fine and hasn't needed any other repairs in that whole time. I should have kept the old yellow thing.

My Maytag did that and it needed the thermostat replaced. There should be a way to reset your fridge as just unplugging mine didn't do it, I had to turn the temp control dial all they way off(past 0) and back on. That triggered the fridge to run a single chill cycle and indicated the bad thermostat.
