hope your all safe from the hurricane that hit north east of Canada

The eastern part of Canada (Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and eastern Quebec especially Ile-de-la-Madeleine) is getting hit really bad currently. No electricity, huge waves and lot of wind.

Every houses or roads near the water is at risk of flooding and waves and wind damage to houses and trees.

Did the storm made a lot of damage on the US coast too?

Yeah we have been getting our power back over the past two days. Man I have not seen this kind of damage on PEI ever, and I've been around for a while. I am very fortunate to have no damage at all, extremely grateful for that. So many places near the water have been just wrecked. People lined up for hours to get into gas stations to fill their cars and jerri cans. Some town halls open as warming stations where you can charge up and get a cup of coffee. This is going to take a little while to get cleaned up and recover from. Damn nature can be a harsh one.
