        My typical carry with jeans:

Benchmade 556 Mini-Griptillian with D2 steel. And deep carry clip. I have had this for about 15 years without issue.

Wenger Highlander serrated. I love this style of swiss army knife. It replaces the corkscrew with a Phillips screw driver and the can opener of this style is a perfect box opener. It also fits in my coin pocket without protruding.

Olight S1 mini. Super bright when needed and is a nice small form factor to ride in the pocket. The magnet base helps when working around machines or vehicles. The battery is a rechargable CR123, but can use off the shelf non-rechargable batteries if needed.

Bic lighter. Cheap and works reliably when you need to burn stuff.

Keychain bottle opener. Great for bottles and electric cabinets.

I'm way too hard on knives to carry anything fancy. For a few years there, I had a Benchmade Bali-song, and got a kick out of flipping it open at the Post Office to open packages.

But that was something like a $180 knife, and even just cutting open taped boxes was hard on the tip. (I admittedly open a lot of boxes.) I re-dressed the tip a couple of times, but realized how stupid it was to wear out a nice- and expensive- knife like that just on packages.

I found a cheap Stanley folding knife at the local secondhand shop- one that takes the usual utility knife blades. That's much more my speed- I'll use it to open packages, scrape sealant out of threads, cut string and tape, scrape paint, even deburr aluminum bits if I don't have a proper deburr knife handy.

I go through a 100-pack of blades roughly every two years.

We get asked this question A LOT in our survival school. As a Registered Maine Guide and Veteran and Survival Instructor, I have learned a bit along the way. The best reminder is this... "You see people with flashy knives and large blades. You do not need to worry about them. It is the guy with a small knife and quiet demeanor you need to be concerned about. Because he KNOWS how to use that tiny knife in ways you can not imagine. Small knives save lives".
I carry one of 3 types. A multitool, an Outdoor Edge Razorlite in Orange, or a Morakniv Basic.
I did have a forge in Scotland hand make me a butcher blade for outdoor cooking but I use it rarely.

Usually I carry a 552 Griptillian with custom scales everyday but today I’ve got my BBK Raptor V1

I generally don't respond to questions like this, but I like the MCB crowd so I'll play along. My every day carry kit varies a bit depending on weather I'm on or off duty, but this is the stuff that I was wearing this evening. Gear is spread out between assorted pockets and on the belt line.
Omitted from the photo were the louder parts of my equipment. And to be fair the coin purse shown usually lives in the vehicle and holds my parking meter money, unless I'm entering a non-permisive environment and will be subject to scrutiny.

The blades in the photo are an Emerson knife co folding seax (a favorite of mine) and a spyderco ronin 2, I am partial towards that blade profile.

For the folks looking for ideas, I should also mention that if I'm entering a non-permissive environment the carabiner on my key ring swaps with a little larger, locking gate, climbing one that serves more purposes.

My Leatherman is currently on the console of my truck as it was just used to fix a latch on my humidor (also very important)

And I generally don't go anywhere without my citizen eco-drive watch or Oakley sunglasses. (Quick word from our sponsors!)

I also keep a well stocked get home bag in the truck, w trauma gear, spare equipment, and my trusty tomahawk.

Same knife I used when teaching groups of teens Brushcraft. Had a nice lemon patina for about 4 years but it could use recharging. Nice fat unassuming handle and fugly sheath that I can draw and stow while half asleep mid huff.

                  So I'm curious.

At what frequency do you guys change / swap / replace your EDC knife ?

For me its not very often.
For the last 10ish years mine has been my old Buck 110 exclusively until 2020 when I started carrying the Sears 110 copy maybe about 5% of the time. Before the Buck I used to carry a early Beretta Airlight for years. But that went to my sister for hiking after I swapped.

I'll switch it up now and then as the mood strikes me, but I'll always end up going back to my Bugout with titanium scales.

I really like the Mora Robust, maybe not as a good for fine carving as the companion but very strong and sharp blade and feel safer using it with the bolster and butt design. Also at $20 its a cheap affordable knive.

I keep it in a 5.11 pouch that I always bring camping. Need to upgrade the ductape on the matchbox to Gorilla tape and add more paracord since I had to use it on my last camping trip.

i replace mine when its either lost or damaged.
                    OR
if it no longer fits my needs.

i had a gerber multi tool (think full size leatherman) when i worked in a garage. when i got a job at a hospital and started wearing scrubs, it was too big and way to heavy.
i switched to a kershaw with a bit driver. that worked well BUT i always seemed to need a pair of plyers.
so i switched to the gerber feather light. thing was PERFECT. until it broke. (and honestly, the philips bit was thin/flat and only one size).

i then got the leatherman skelatool and hove not looked back. it is actually the perfect tool for me. checks all the boxes, has #1 and #2 Philips as well as 2x flats, plyers, knife, and is light weight.

                      Sog instinct mini, and Leatherman.

Instinct mini is perfect so far but would like to try the larger size. Leather man is a bit heavy but it's so useful.

Whatever fits comfortably in my pocket given what I am wearing and where I am planning on going. It could be as small as a pen knife like a Case trapper or smaller up to my Buck 110 really depends on the situation. Typically what ends up in my pocket is either my CRKT CEO (slim and easy to carry) or my CRKT Pilar which is considerably heavier but can take more abuse for hard use. I have pocket knives stashed all over my property and vehicles but they tend to be cheap relatively disposable so I can use and abuse them without concern.

I replace a knife when it breaks or I can no longer keep a good edge on it. My dad was anal about knife sharpening and I picked that up from him so I know how to sharpen cutty things and try to keep them sharpened to the appropriate edge given what they are and intended purpose. So I do wear out knives and typically if I can and I am happy with the knife replace same for same.

I see what some of you carry and wonder if it is just a 'thing' to have such elaborate EDC collections in your pocket or you really feel that worried about collapse of society on an emanate basis. I carry as little as possible in my pockets I hate carrying around a lot of crap I never or rarely use. With a simple knife there are a lot of things you can accomplish.

                          My Kabar BK11
bough on sale couple of years ago and never really liked it since the grip was too small and only 3 finger long...

I found a video on youtube mentionning those G10 grip for the BK11 and bough a set to try. Now its a really usable knife with a longer and more confortable grip.

I really recommend those grip from Stoner CNC. They are really well made and the fit is perfect.
They also make some nice 1911 grip panel (have not tried them yet but will order a set soon)
