For those that have been following my stuff for a while, you know I have a Patreon- for those not familiar, basically a "crowdfunding" site, where you can set up to donate as little as a buck a month to the "content creator" of your choice. My original account was for both of my main jobs- the airsmithery/machine shop, and my webcomic. The problem there was some people wanted to see the machine shop and paintball stuff, but weren't necessarily interested in the comic art, and vice versa.
I'm starting to work more heavily on getting some of my paintball projects done up as videos, and was concerned that people following those wouldn't be interested in in the comic bits, so I've split them up. The old Patreon is now TheWhiteboard, which will now be just the comic extras and artwork, and the new one is DocsMachineShop, for the shop videos, build blogs and other tinkery goodness.
As most of you know, there's not exactly a bunch of money in airsmithing- I probably made less last year than some of you paid in taxes- and the little extra I've gotten through Patreon has been a big help over the last few years. Point in fact, it's basically the only thing that got me through 2020 and most of '21.
I basically just wanted to announce the change, but if any of you would like to sign up to toss a buck or two my way, to help keep those comics, Vee-Twins and other goodies comin', I'd sure appreciate it!
And even if not, a big thanks to all my customers, readers and just interested friends. And stick around, I've got a lot more on the way!
