It's my wife and my 7th anniversary today, so we took a small camping trip this weekend. Duluth has become a favorite destination for us as it's a majorly dog friendly town. Most businesses allow dogs inside.
Took the Booty on an adventure yesterday. Started with a 4 mile hike through Jay Cooke State Park. Then went into Duluth to walk Canal park. Much to our surprise. Duluth was a zoo thanks to an inline skating marathon going down, so we went to OMC smokehouse for lunch. They serve fresh pork rinds with your meal, so naturally Booty got some of those and plenty of meat samples from our plates. She was the bestest dog on the patio. Other dogs were barking at us and adjacent puppers, but booty stayed quiet and enjoyed lunch.
We then went to Love creamery for ice cream. The girls working loved booty and offered us a pup cup. We commonly get pup cups from the coffee shop or Dairy Queen, but the love creamery pup cup looked top notch. The whipped cream was yellowish, I assume it had a savory dog flavor in it. It was topped off with 2x small yogurt covered dog bones. I wish I would have asked what it was, because this doggo went HAM for it.
We then stopped at Wild State Cider works for a drink on their patio. The dog was pretty tired at this point, I brought her a blanket to nap while we had our drink. We then went back to the camper where she took a much needed siesta.

Both parents were over 110lb solid muscle. I keep ‘em lean for health reasons with lots of exercise and socialization. He’s very confident, super chill, and been easy to train. I can’t wait to start training him to pull the longboard. My 6 year old is going to do agility with him threw our 4H group.
