Tv show we love or watch young will not know

Not tv show but horror icon vincent price. Will not like or understand his horror movie and show. Man made horror movies with out computer or other special effect to make horror movie.

I remember seeing a rare few afternoon reruns of Six Million Dollar Man, as a *really* young kid, and thinking it was cool as hell.

I have not seen so much as a YouTube clip in decades, but I'm sure the cheese would have gone off by now.

More recently, I had a chance to catch some old Barney Miller, which I hadn't seen since I was home sick from grade school. It's... not bad. Not all that great, but not bad.

On the other hand, a few years back I got a set of the original Night Court, and that holds up remarkably well. (The new one with Dan isn't bad either,)

M*A*S*H is another one that holds up well- and is actually better since the adult me now gets more of the jokes than prepubescent me did.

Original Futurama is every bit as good as the latest stuff- and holy crap, it's twenty-plus years old now!

Night Court holds up really well! It was one of my favorite shows as a kid & I watched most of the episodes not too long ago on Tubi i believe.

One i don’t think anybody has mentioned is Sanford & Son. I still find it really funny but i doubt it would fly in today’s cancel culture.

Some others that I really enjoy are Get Smart and Hogan's Heroes. I watched them as a kid as repeats and have seen every episode of both. I still watch them again here and there.

Get Smart is tame Mel Brooks but still great fun. I recently had my oldest son over (31 years old) and he and I watched Blazing Saddles. He has a great sense of humor and we laughed all the way through. I'm not sure my younger kids would have the same appreciation for it!

Raven911 Battlestar Galactica is another good one. I started watching it again a while back and I still like it. As a kid, I watched it every week.

DocsMachine Six Million Dollar Man was one I vaguely remember but I know I had the action figure that had the eye you could look through and arm with circuits in it. I also watched the Six Million Dollar Woman too but I don't remember liking it as much.

Some other of my 70's favorites are Happy Days, Laverne and Shirley, Mork and Mindy and Three's Company. I watched a few Three's Company episodes a few days ago and I'm good. It's the same thing every episode. Mork and Mindy wasn't as funny as I remembered either. Robin Williams was great in that but the episodes lagged more than I had recalled.

I also remember watching Incredible Hulk as a kid and being scared to death of him turning green. I had nightmares about that show! To be fair I was probably 4 when it came on.

futurama is a SOLID show.
the series ending with fry stopping time was one of the best endings ive seen. it was such a fitting end to a great show.

aslo i read somewhere that the worst episode of all time was when fry brought seymour back to life. it was the worst episode of all 8 season and not because it was poorly written or anything. it was ranked the worst because it was so emotional and sad. that a cartoon like this has no right be this heart breaking.
the ending is what crushed your heart but you need to watch the whole episode the get the full effect.

I love Futurama (not so much the crappy "movies" Comedy Central made), and "Jurassic Bark" is an episode that I avoid watching. The 4 seasons that Comedy Central made were pretty good, especially the (second) series finale. So far the Hulu episodes have been good.

That’s very true. As a kid Saturday mornings were special. I looked forward to cartoons all week because it’s all we had. I’d usually get up earlier than i would on a school day do that i could make myself breakfast before they started.

Well i have watched so many shows and movies over the years,its hard to nail it down to a few. The 70’s had” the six million dollar man “, welcome back kotter, happy days,and the greatest cartoons ever. Bugs bunny and friends were the best. Wrestling was the best too. The 80’s brought us “Cheers”, my all time favorite tv show. So many great movies from those two decades ,I beleive will never be topped.

One of my all time favorites when I was young was Simon and Simon. It came on after Magnum PI, also a favorite. I think they tried to remake magnum and failed, but no kid today has even heard of Simon and Simon despite running for 8 seasons (156 episodes each an hour long). Such a good show
