Really good fella. A bit old school, no nonsense type, but kind and happy to chat up about paintball, music, guitars, etc. it's nice to have a renowned paintball figure local and accessible. I'm hoping to get a slider cocker purchased for him to do some magic with.

Some of the markers he has worked on are a sight to behold. The CZ pistol on his site is pretty stunning.

That's all, just thought that might interest some, spark some conversation. We had a good chat about the new Lazarus valve and the difference between over/under bore-ing.

Did you go out to GG? Ive been up there a couple times myself. Real nice airball setup, I occasionally go up there to dick around and tune guns on Wednesday and Friday nights

For open play in the area you gotta go down the road to wacky west. I was reffing a private group so didn't get exact count but probably had around 25 in open.

That is where I played 10 years ago before quitting for a spell. But the facilities at GG are so good, I was hoping to play there more. I'll probably hit up wacky again soon to see how it goes

GG seems to be competitive tournament teams or brand new, young open play (sporadically). I'm in between those two.

Currently GG has wacky beat in airball and facilities hands down.

Wacky west has had a couple changes while youve been gone, they got a new owner in like July or August so things are being improved and invested in finally. Speedball got cut in half and redone bc the city put a road in. Clearing is being split into two new fields, one is usable but needs some tweaks(lots of brush that needs thinning), airball no longer has inflatables and has big water jugs instead but is planned to renovated soonish.
